bullet

Inform others
Help your fellow Christians, pastors, and leaders to make informed decisions.  Who/what should they support, oppose, and pray about.

bullet

Pray
The Bible tells us that we should pray for our government.  Unfortunately, very few Christians know what they should pray about.  Informed Christians can pray for many things, including:

See our PrayerList here.  Includes specific reader requests, general requests, and specific requests for your church, nation, and family.

bullet

Contact your officials
Let them know where you stand on issues-abortion, capital punishment, morality, etc.  Let your local officials know as well.

bullet

Throw out the TV
The greatest tool Satan has is distraction.  How much would you do for God and His work, if you stopped watching sports, movies, and A-MUSE-ment (the opposite of MUSE: to think).  Not to say you can't have fun, but don't live for it.  Life is not defined by sports or golf, but by helping people.

bullet

Prepare
For what?  Increased terrorism, public disturbances, your family's safety.
Please read our article Why Should I Prepare?
bullet

Buy a gun, or other means of self-defense AND train to use it.  An untrained gun is more dangerous to your family than you are to an intruder.

bullet

Stock up on food.  If a 'terrorist' incident occurs near you, transportation will be seriously hindered, prices will be high, people will be nuts.  Get about a month's supply at least.  Buy just a few canned goods at a time if need be - and rotate your supply often.

bullet

Have a very good water filter and means of storage.
