NONE of these books are
paid advertisements - I don't even make a wooden nickel out of
recommending them. I have personally read these books and can
recommend them. I may not agree 100% every time; but I can agree
enough to recommend them. This does not necessarily give my
endorsement to other books these authors may have written. These
books are judged and recommended by themselves. |

Hitler's Cross
Erwin W. Lutzer,
Moody Press, 1995.
I highly recommend that you read
this one.
Here is the back cover: "The hakenkreuz,
or broken cross, became the vivid icon under which
Adolph Hitler united his destitute and pride-starved
nation. As Der Fuhrer, supreme leader of the reichstaf,
Hitler rejoiced that the Swastika was openly displayed
in churches throughout Germany.
Confused at first by their
responsibilities, then deceived by their pride, many
church leaders capitulated to the wave of nationalism
that swept the Cross of Jesus Christ from its rightful
place. Others did not - and paid the ultimate price for
upholding the truth.
Erwin W. Lutzer explores the story of
Hitler's Cross - how a whole race of people so in need
of a champion found little help from the Church of
Christ and so invited the judgment of God."
As you read this book, you will be
chilled at the parallels between the church of Nazi
Germany, and the nationalistic, politically-correct
'churches' of America. As Erwin Lutzer said, this is
the "story of a nation whose church forgot its primary
call, and too late discovered its failure."

When is it Right To
Fight
Robert A. Morey, P&R Publishing, 1985.
This was a very good book with many
Biblical and historical examples. Covers a wide
variety of subjects, from just wars to
civil-disobedience from a Christian perspective. |

America's
Last Call
David Wilkerson
1998 Wilkerson Trust Publications P.O. Box 260
Lindale, Texas 75771
This is a must read!
Easy reading! Only 141 pages.
Clearly outlines why
America is going to be judged. Shows numerous
Biblical precedents and historical precedents of nations
clearly judged by God. Absolutely fascinating book
on how prosperity is not necessarily a sign of God's
blessing!
Asks and answers the
pointed question: If God judged heathen nations, and
even His own people, why does America think it is
exempt? |

AMERICA
THE BEAUTIFUL?
Very rarely do I find a book
that I would agree with so much that I would endorse it.
I finished reading this after I wrote
"The Great Commandment"
essay, so I was amazed at its subject and depth.
Great points. Would make excellent reading by any
Christian.
I would
probably also recommend it for skeptics who are not as
concerned about the spiritual state of our country, and
our responsibilities. I recommend it to them
because it doesn't really contain anything controversial
per say, like occult, conspiracies, etc. It is a
plain look at America from a Biblical perspective.
Also, since it was published in 2003, it is up-to-date
and recognizably relevant (as opposed to prophecy books
written during the 60-70s). This book brings up
very pointed verses about God, nations, and where
America is at.

CIRCLE OF INTRIGUE
by Texe Marrs
powerofprophecy.org
(Although I do not recommend Texe
Marrs current ministry, this book was written at a time when
he did not go off the deep end yet, and it is a great
introduction - just avoid his other stuff). |
