Here is a brief overview of what the ministry is working on for this new year!   Please pray for us in these endeavors that the Lord will give us the energy, finances, means, and time to accomplish these goals to His glory.  Also pray that technical problems and similar distractions will be kept at bay.  All of these ministry projects are being worked on for the edification, exhortation of the body of Christ - to encourage Christians to live for Christ with all of their life.  You will notice that we do not have advertisements and sponsorships on our website.  Hence, any projects and expenses that we have are covered 100% by donations.  Also keep in mind that these projects are on top of our regular daily website maintenance, updating, and expenses.  It is other Christians holding the ropes that enable this ministry to be successful in many ways.  We invite you to be a part of edifying and exhorting other believers through financial support and prayer support.  Only eternity will tell of the impact your investment will be multiplied.
 

Well, it is now about seven sessions, and I just recently finished wrapping up the dry-run of the course material with some young people.  Lord willing, I will either put it into video or audio form soon, but (unfortunately) I am so busy working and getting the Logic project underway that time will tell when it will be available.  Please pray for me that I will be able to squeeze it in every now and then and nickel-and-dime it into publication on the website.

Update 1/22/8:  I think the phrase "running wide open" describes this past month so far!  I have been working towards getting the filming started.  We finally, finally, finally got the studio insulated and somewhat sound proofed (which was the main thing holding us up).  In the meantime, I was able to gather a wide variety of props and experiences that will make the video truly captivating not only from the material covered, but also for the visual variety.  The Lord has blessed with bringing various people across my path with a variety of accesses and helps. 

Please continue to pray that the Lord will protect this project, as it is a very vital training and growth subject for all Christians, especially younger people.  Please pray that the Lord will enable and streamline certain technological opportunities that are currently in play that would enable us to broadcast the video from our website.  Also pray for efficiency and freedom from distractions as we only have about less than three months from start to finish for filming (due to work schedule).  Lord willing, actual filming/recording will start in about two/three weeks.  Please pray that the costumes will be finished on time. 

Perhaps the greatest and most urgent prayer request is that I am trying to get a certain individual involved with the filming/behind-the-scenes aspects of the project, that the Lord has impressed upon me, who would benefit from the experience and hands-on learning of the material.  Pray that (if it is the Lord's will) this individual will not be hindered by activities and other pulls on his time, and that he will desire to learn and grow, while also being a blessing to me, and those that will eventually watch the video.  Pray that he will desire to work toward eternal rewards and redeem the time.

I am currently finishing up construction on some additional sets and props, while also streamlining the script and teaching aids.  More updates to come as we get started!

This is already a massive project with many points.  This video is being made in conjunction with a fifty-page workbook (close to completion) that will enable viewers/students to get the most out of the information and instruction.  This is currently our largest project, and the most demanding.  This seminar is going to be on a level from early teenager and up.  It is also being developed in mind to be used as a home school curriculum.
