Editor's Prayer Requests

Please take some time right now, and throughout the day, to pray for a dear family friend of mine. Her estranged husband (a known pedophile) is seeking a divorce, financial monies, and involvement in the lives of his daughters (whom she has been protecting). This man is very vengeful, and is trying to use the courts and legal means to ruin her and her daughters' life. On top of that, he is portraying himself as a pious and religious man to the community where he resides. I ask that we pray in the manner of Psalm 109 for this man. Pray that he will get the worst lawyer imaginable (vs. 6) who will give him detrimental advice. Pray that his malicious attempts will backfire on him legally (vs. 7) to where he will be exposed for the evil man he is, and that he will be the one financially liable to his ruin (vs. 11). If the Lord wills, He can also stop this court battle by more permanent means (vs. 8). Please help uphold this family in prayer these next two weeks. James 1:27 exhorts us, "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction..." Also pray for me as I seek to encourage them and help them during this time.

A closer walk with God, time in His Word, and a life of faith.

	Lori - 3/29/8 - Dear Lord I am asking for a miracle for my husband Michael. He has been through two massive heart attacks, a quadruple bypass surgery, a surgery to attach his heart to a temporary heart device, a surgery to unattach the device from his left side, pneumonia, two strokes, and now a possible infection. His chest has been open for two weeks now they cannot close it because of swelling and because the right side of his heart is still attached to the artifical device which is helping to keep him alive along with the ventilator. This has all happened in the last few weeks. Please pray for a total healing of my God loving husband the love of my life.
	'Reader' - I'm 51 and need surgery. My daughter of 28 went home to be with the Lord 3 yrs. ago and my husband and I are raising 2 grandchildren. Since they have been with us, they've been baptized and are home schooled. I pray the Lord will heal my body and keep me and my family safe. I will be away from church for several months as I recuperate. I know this will be a prime time for Satan to make a move on this family. Protect us Lord, we love you and worship only you.
	Tyler - In The Name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Dear God, Thank you for this day you have given to me. You know the turmoil my life has been in for the past 6 months since my wife and I have separated and our divorce is nearly final. I am so sorry, my God, for this unholy scourge of divorce that we allowed to enter our lives. I ask for your forgiveness in my actions as well as my wife's actions with each other. I love you God and love my wife. I do not want to be with out her through the journey of life. Together forever we promised each other when we married God. We had some misunderstandings and we allowed things to get out of control that has put us in this arena. I ask of you My God to soften my wife's heart and guide her to forgive my trespasses. In Jesus' name I pray.
	Patricia - I am very ill, yet not old, please pray that I may be rid of an addiction I have and then hopefully heal.
	'Reader' - Please pray for me as I go through a bitter divorce. My husband was both physically and emotionally abusive. He has a controlling and manipulative spirit. Please ask God to protect me and my daughter as we move on, pray for our strength and also pray that I will no longer make poor choices and I ask God to forgive me for being disobedient.
	Helen - I feel like my marriage is one sided. I don't have the desire anymore and I'm scared he will turn to someone else. We go to church but I believe it's because of his mother. We're not together and we don't have anything to say.

	Al - Please pray for the safety of the three captured soldiers in Gaza and Lebanon. Gilad shalit, Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev. Pray that they may receive a revelation of their Messiah. Pray also for their families in this time of great anxiety and stress. Pray that the Lord would work for their release. -Please pray for Cecy-protection, Frank, Kelly, Kirstey, Pam, Pete, Jess, Lindsay, Courtney, Dave, David-protection, Fiona, Arne,Osman , bo, Sven, The Bali nine, Alley and Svein-Salvation for all. Pray that God save Ariel Sharon and Mel Gibson.
	Keri - Please pray for my broken family. My fiance left me and our children for another woman, who was married (on top of it). He was just saved too! Please pray that if it's the Lord's will, that He changes his heart and creates in him a new man that will return home and take care of his family! Thank you so much!
	Maria - pray for my husband, Manolo, who is not saved. Also pray for Spain and for governors.
	Loving Wife - Please please pray for my marriage, and especially for my husband. He is having doubts about our marriage and I feel miles apart from him.
	Angel - I am in a lot of debt. An attorney is really on my back. Please pray for me that this attorney will settle with me at a reasonable price that I can afford. Worried in Louisiana.
	*Daniel* - Please pray for me that I will steadfastly follow the commandments of our Lord, not fear this world and what it thinks, and that I will stop having doubts about my salvation - the Lord has saved me from a very wicked past the evil one likes to use the remembrance of this past to cause doubt that I am a child of God - I want to be an consistent witness and have been handing out gospel tracts for a few months now, but occasional doubt and fear that I am not saved has been an issue.
	*Garrett* - Pray for Chris ------- because we used to be very best friends, but now its been a long time since he's been in church. Pray for me as I'm having a very difficult time going to school and work.
	*Mary* - Please pray for my daughter to give her life to the Lord. She has not been to church in 2 years now. She cut ties with the Lord and the rest of our family. Please pray that God will send her godly friends who will talk to her about Jesus. She is only 19. She left home at age 17. She is going with the wrong crowd. Mother's Day is rough for me. I have not heard from her in a while. Please pray for God to restore our relationship. How I wish to at least get a phone call from her.
	Kathy - Please pray for my husband Fredric. He is not saved. He is in the world and was taught as a child that religion was a crutch. Please pray from my grown children Kim and Kris. They have strayed away from the Lord, and please pray that I can walk closer to God each day.
	Clay - Prayer of protection from demonic entities. This has been a chronic problem for me.
	*Phyllis* - (updated 11/4/4) - my son has gone from one who claimed to be a bible-believing Christian to renouncing his faith. He has moved a woman into the apt whom I believe has bewitched him. I gave up everything I had to help him with the kids. Since she has come into the picture, he and the girlfriend are taking the girls out of church, introducing the occult, playing tricks... He told me to leave the house last night in front of the girls, as my presence drives him crazy. He is drinking and his behavior is going downhill very fast. When he gets upset (at every little thing) at the girls, he uses the Lord's name and the "f" word like that is all he knows. He openly says he does not believe in the Lord anymore. This woman is evil, and my son is stupid. the things coming into that home around the girls and the things he says to me are nasty, profane, and awful. He is like a madman, and needs deliverance, his right mind back. I have a part time job that is not enough hours, or salary, and cannot seem to find anything else. I will be on Soc. Sec. in March, but cannot make it till then. I moved into this apt. complex at my son's request to help with the girls. Now he treats me like garbage and threatens to keep me away from the kids. -- I am a 61 year old grandma now helping to raise 4 little girls. My former daughter in law got involved with some men over the internet, divorced my son. My son has abandoned the Lord since this happened, also. The girls have gotten hard, tough and rebellious and they need me a lot. Desperate. Thank you.
	*Danny* - I am a Christian and was Baptized with water about 25 years ago. I am now 51 years old and am struggling daily to get back to God in a way that I know I should and need. I pray daily but still struggle with living my life in peace for God. Please help. My marriage is on the rocks, my heart is heavy and I fill burnt out and sometimes hopeless.
	*Perpetual* - Divine favor from God. I'm a girl of 22yrs old and also a catholic member, things are becoming so difficult that I become so lost to temptations within and around me. please I need deliverance from God Almighty to intercede for me. (editor: pray that she will accept Jesus Christ as her Savior. We will be praying for her and corresponding with her.)
	Bolanle (Nigeria) - desires to be fed by and encouraged about The Word. Desires the Gospel will be propagated throughout the world. Great desire to learn and be discipled.
	Monica - She was raised in New Age and Wicca. I (Phyllis) am witnessing to her and she has adopted me.
	*Dawn* - Suffered 2 strokes, severely affected her speech and movement in right side. She fell today in the hospital. They cannot seem to keep her blood pressure down. The Lord has given her a burden for the church and she sees the apostasy clearly. She has been such an encouragement to me as I went through being reprimanded in my church for trying to warn people about The Passion and I was causing "division". Please pray that God would restore her. She also suffers from fibromyalgia and diabetes.
	Monica - Please pray for guidance in our marriage. Every day is a battle and there are times I want to give up. I need the strength to choose the Lord's will over my own.
	*Danny* - Pray that I have patience and understanding. A prayer for our world. Pray for our troops in harms way.
