Protection for Homeschoolers, and their rights.

Pray for government officials who are doing right, that they will have the courage and protection that they need.  That they will say and do what needs to be said.

Missionaries and their protection

Pastors, that they will be informed and speak out against individuals in the political and religious arena who are deceiving their flock.

Pray that God will greatly hinder the abortion clinics, and personnel in your area.  David prayed specifically against his enemies, and so can we.

Help our pastor, and myself, to stay in your precious Word.  Give him a desire to read Your Word.  Free him from distractions, and help him to set aside time each day to study Your Word.

Be with the pastors of persecuted churches.  Bring into their lives godly Christians who can be an encouragement, and willing hand in the work.  Bring missionaries or visiting foreigners who can teach them sound doctrine, and educate them in areas that could benefit their ministry and help new converts grow.

Place your hand of protection on the Christians that are in prison, or have lost friends/family, or all they own for You.  Give them the peace that only You can give.  Use their situation and testimony to bring glory to Your name.

Give our pastor the words you want him to speak, fill him with the Holy Ghost, and make our hearts tender to what You desire to show us.

Be with the pastor and laymen in the church that you will keep them in good health as they serve you.

Give the pastor the words and wisdom that he needs when counseling, preaching, and exhorting.  Let the words be from You, not man's wisdom.

That we will desire to follow you and not my flesh. 

Let me give free reign to the Holy Spirit to guide me in the paths that I should go - and to give me the desires of your heart. 

Help our pastor, and myself, to stay in your precious Word.  Give me a desire to read Your Word.  Free us from distractions, and help us to set aside time each day for You.

Open thou mine eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.  Close my ears to my flesh, and lift my eyes to what you want me to do. 

Help me and give me grace to be willing to serve and follow what you want. 

I am asking for grace to do what I cannot do by myself, and I am asking you that you help me give you full reign in my actions and thoughts. 

Let me know if I am holding back the Spirit in any way, show me sin in my life that would hinder what you would want, and stir in me in anger at sin in my life, and help me to remove it. 

Give me boldness to speak up when people take your name in vain.  Not in pride, but in love.

Help my to be the witness you want me to be.  Give me boldness for You, and diminish the fear of man.

Help me to raise the children that You have entrusted to my care.  Give me grace to teach them about You, what You say is right and wrong, nurture them in a close and personal relationship with you.

Help my children, spouse, and family to see You in me - in my attitude, my speech, my actions, and my love.

Bring people into our lives that can be godly role models for our children, whether it be pastors, neighbors, or even godly friends.

Give me the grace, boldness, and patience to properly correct my children when I should.  Let me never correct them in anger, but in love.

Let my relationship with my spouse always be as that of Christ and His church, unselfish love for each other.  Help me to put them and their desires first.

Give me wisdom and discernment as so what we bring into our lives by entertainment, reading, humor, toys, hobbies, and activities.  Keep us always alert and open to what You would desire in our lives.

That You will keep those in government, who fear You, unspotted from peer pressure, corruption, and ungodly influences.

That you expose those in leadership who desire to destroy and corrupt our land.

That You will hinder the works of those who strive to destroy the freedom that we enjoy and that we will utilize what time we may have remaining to use those freedoms to spread the Good News about You.

Put a hedge about those who stand up for what You said is right.  Give unusual boldness and protection, especially to those who endeavor to protect life.

Hinder Satan's efforts to kill the unborn.  Shut down the clinics in our city and state.  Judge those that shed innocent blood or assist them.

Give me boldness to say what is true according to your Word, and not to compromise or to consent by silence when your Authority is questioned.
