HOW ARE DECISIONS MADE THAT DIRECT THE COURSE OF MY LIFE?

I trust in the Word of God (the Bible).  It is the moral and spiritual compass for my life.  "For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe." - I Thess. 2:13.  God's Word is the sole trustworthy source of truth.  "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." - Prov. 30:5-6.  "...blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it." - Luke 11:28.

My faith can only be effectively demonstrated and lived (inwardly and outwardly) by reading and aligning to the Word of God.  "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." - Romans 10:17.  "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." - Eph. 6:17.  Only the Word of God can properly discern and reveal the thoughts and intents of my heart.  "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." - Heb. 4:12.  Only through the Word abiding in me can I have victory in my life.  "I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one." - I John 2:14.
