"Praise Ye the Lord"

READ Psalm 147

This chapter is all about how great a God we have!  In only twenty verses, there are forty-seven references to God!

This chapter exhorts us to praise God not just in vague terms, but for His specific attributes.  vs. 5 exclaims, "his understanding is infinite".  The chapter beautifully describes God's character, strengths, abilities, love, knowledge, strength, and much, much more!

Scattered within are verses urging us to praise God for what a truly great God He is!  vs. 1 cries, "it is pleasant; and praise is comely."

Feeling down?  Got your eyes on this fallen world and its problems!  Look at our God!  When we look at our Great and Powerful Lord (vs. 5), it is "pleasant"!  Our 'heart problems' go away when we look to Him!

Read this chapter aloud, and proclaim His praise!
