"Look Up"

READ Luke 21:28

Day after day, as we the rampant sin and its effects in our world, our heart can tend to grow depressed.  A sense of hopelessness can creep in, and the twinkle in our eye grow a shade dimmer.  However, that is not how we are to approach this time in our world.  Things will get increasingly darker.  So much so that they will be just like or surpassing the days of Noah and Lot in the amount of wickedness that pervades.  Christ instructs us, that when we see all of these things going on with no hope of revival, we are to look up.

Our encouragement does not fully come from this world.  Our expectation is a higher one.  God and Christ, seated on the throne, are still in control.  Christ is soon returning!  Even as we fret about the Middle East or elsewhere, Christ is getting a reception ready for His saints.  I have my invitation already RSVP-ed.  What about you?
