"Days of Noe"
Daniel Valles

READ Matt. 24:37

When we read this verse, immediately, our mind thinks, "What were those days like?"  Gen. 6:5,11,12 tells us that,
"And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."
"The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence."
"And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth."

Also, Luke 17:27-28 says, "They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.  Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded."

We can see from these verses that things went on as normal.  People transacted with each other as normal.  Life went on...  But, the only difference was that man grew increasingly wicked.  Sure, that affected their actions, but from a purely secular point of view, things progressed as normal.  As Christians, if we merely look at the world through secular perspectives and views, the world seems to be traveling on its merry way.  Sure, their are problems here and there, but little seems to change.

However, if we look at the world the way that God sees it, it is extremely wicked.  Not only are people increasing in their thoughts and actions of evil, but they are doing it continually.  Nowadays, there are whole groups of people caught up in corrupt 'lifestyles'.  They are continually corrupting themselves.

How do you see the world?  Does your perspective change your attitude toward your responsibilities as a steward, watchmen, salt, and light?  It should.  Know what to look for.
