RECAP NEWSLETTER - 4/25/4 Issue 4 Christ gave us His Word, so that we "may know that ye have eternal life." The verse goes on to specify that believing on the name of the Son of God is how we get saved. Verse 11, above it, clarifies that God has given us eternal life in His son. "He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." Salvation is as easy as A-B-C.

I found the information in witnessing to two Catholics the other day,
regarding the differences between Christianity and Catholicism. The
Lord used that knowledge to illustrate how man adds much to the Gospel
that Christ gave. Romans 3:19-29 is a great section to help explain
this concept.

CURRENT EVENT RECAP The same is true for the gay movement. I believe the statistics are wrong. You hear that only 3-5% of Americans are homosexual, etc., but when we look at the thousands of people that show up for gay marriage, and realize that they are the ardent and open proponents and practitioners, how many more are not visible? It is like the cockroach simile. When you see one, you know there are many more in the walls hiding. When we see thousands... That is one reason why legislation will not reverse our moral decay. Yes, there are benefits from having legislation - prohibiting sodomites from adopting children, etc. But, when we realize that we teach this filth in our public schools as a 'normal' lifestyle, have our sciences explain it is 'natural', and then have our president appoint several to prominent positions, a law prohibiting marriage will not cure, or even remotely address the heart matter! The gangrene is spread across our nation, our nation is the largest promoters of it, and yet the majority of Christians is content to put some legal makeup over the festering would so that it is not visible! Last week we saw how the HIV virus temporarily shut down the pornography sewers. Most people were glad, and felt the God was giving them the recompense for their reward (which He is), but they were then content. They failed to read the rest of the story where the fornicators said they were not worried about the shutdown, as they already had a *year's* worth of material produced! In world news, we see Bush planning and funding a international 'peace' force. I have heard people say that in spite of Bush's discrepancies and bad fruit, they would re-elect him on his foreign policy alone. They meant, of course, not getting permission from the UN, and 'fighting terror'. To me, that means they are glad that he has placed at the highest priority the destruction of our national sovereignty. Not only is the greatest goal of this administration the passage of the FTAA (Free Trade Area of the Americas), but has fostered the greatest unification of international cooperation, and is now planning and funding a UN-led peace force! We also saw two more countries pull their troops out of Iraq, increasing the burden on our troops. I read a scary though the other day that perhaps the increase hatred and anti-American sentiment, that is being garnered throughout the world presently, is akin to Israel in the Bible, when God removed His hand of protection from them. Their surrounding enemies quickly overwhelmed them. Monetarily, we are starting to see gold on the rise again, as the lulls and presumptuous economic data (housing, job, etc.) leveled out for a brief bit. Also, with the renewing attacks on oil facilities, the price of oil and, hence, gold will increase. One last brief note. Now that the news are publicly tossing around the threat of a major terror attack between now and the election, I think the chances are about sure that we will get one. The people are notified that one is coming, and are willing to accept whatever changes to their liberties may be necessary for peace and safety - even martial law.
