Looking Up
05/21/2019

Good Evening, Friends! I just came in from outside - looking up at Jupiter by Ophiuchus' right foot, right over Scorpius' tail. Indeed, we can still go outside, literally lift up our heads - literally look up - and we can see a literal celestial sign that reminds us of the time, and the promises that are very real and present at this late hour. Go outside and LOOK UP for this reminder: that our redemption - by our Redeemer - is very nigh! Jupiter is very bright!

There are so many things that the Spirit can remind us of, when we go and look up. Right now, Jupiter is by the right foot stars. On May 23rd-ish, it will be right above the brightest of them, as it travels along the ecliptic. We can instantly be reminded of Hebrews 10:12, "But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; from henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool."

That's the next prophetic chapter and events to take place! If you go outside in the early morning - before dawn - you can also see Jupiter sets toward the West - as a morning star! And it's shining bright - and getting brighter!

These are strong reminders for us to be overcomers, and shine even brighter - and so much the more as we see the day approaching! Considering that the right hand and the right foot are often associated in Biblical pictures as pictures of strength, there's something to be considered that this celestial show of strength - stomping on the Scorpion - is only for a few more days. When we consider all the calls for peace and safety, and the geopolitical events ramping up, there is a lot that should make us realize that time is shorter than we think.

We are expecting our Bridegroom and Redeemer - the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Lamb of God. We are reminded of His telling the disciples about the illustration of the wise and foolish virgins. We see similar parallels in what the heavens are declaring right now. We are called to shine bright - so that the world can see Christ working in us, and to bring glory to our Father; and this is something that we are told to increase (so much the more) when we know He is about to appear. We have heard the trumpet calls at midnight: "The bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him." So, what was the very next thing that had to take place? They all had to STAND on their FEET (Matt 25:7) - AND shine bright.

Notice that the foolish did rise up - they took steps - but they went in the wrong direction (Matt 25:10). The wise virgins took steps, too - going out to meet the bridegroom. Friend, now is the time when we must examine our FEET. Our STEPS. Have we stood up, when we heard the trumpet calls? Have we stood up and taken clear and shining steps toward our Beloved? Have we taken any steps lately at all? Have we even gotten up?

I encourage you to review our PDF, RUNNING for the Prize.

Hebrews 10 tells us about the One Who was offered on our behalf - and how He will one day make His enemies His footstool. What does the next chapter in Hebrews talk about? Those who lived a life of faith - that resulted in action that affirmed (gave legs to) and gave evidence to what they believed. Our STEPS will shew/demonstrate what our faith is. Our STEPS and actions will be the light that will - or will not - shine as a light to bring glory to our Father (Matt 5:16).

"Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" - Luke 18:8

When Christ returns, will He have to use nightvision to find us, because we aren't taking STEPS to shine? We must consider His warnings to the foolish virgins, though; He won't wait for them. He won't go looking for them. When He comes, we all must be ready and shining bright - where we are supposed to be. Faithful servants will have evidence - light evidence - of their faith.

In just a few days (approx June 9th), Jupiter, the 'King Planet' which rules the night, will be shining its brightest. Likewise, do we desire to shine bright like our King? Are we increasing so much the more?

One of the more sober aspects of preparing our medical missions work is having to triage situations of the deceased or expectant. There are certain triage medical steps and vital signs that are used to evaluate whether someone is considered dead or not. It should catch our attention that Christ used a similar picture in the letters to the seven churches. One church He plainly told them that they were effectively dead. Ephesus had some good vital signs, but had a serious heart condition. Laodicea - which though they were doing great - was declared lukewarm. Room temperature.

What vital signs did Christ say He was looking for? Faith put into action. Faith without works is dead (James 2:17).
What two vital signs did Paul say we should be checking and encouraging - so much the more - as we see that Christ is about to come and check our vitals (Hebrews 10:24-25)? Love and good works.

Ephesus had good works, but no love. Laodicea had what they thought was 'love' for Christ, but it never resulted in good works/action/evidence; they actually did not want to exert effort. It takes energy to cool something down to be cold. It takes energy to heat something up to be hot. It takes nothing to assume room temperature. Even dead bodies can do that.

What intervention did the Great Physician tell Laodicea that they had to do - immediately? Be zealous (Rev 3:19) and repent (change the way they were going). Friend, what about our vitals? When we know what time it is, are we STANDING UP in some way? Are we taking STEPS with our FEET to do something that demonstrates we are Zealous. Radical. Hot and on Fire. Fanatical. Going Overboard. Alive?

When the Son of man returns, will He find us dead or alive...

Friend, I have been considering you - to PROVOKE you and EXHORT you - to live ZEALOUSLY for our Wonderful Redeemer and ever-worthy King.

Titus 2:11-14: "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."

May we Rise up. May we STAND UP. Trim our lamps to shine so much the brighter. And take STEPS to go forward FAITHFULLY to the One Who offered Himself on our behalf. May our life loudly say: "I love you, Lord - FIRST - and HIGHEST ABOVE ALL ELSE!"

Maranatha!! Brother Daniel
