Ascension Day Looking Up! Greetings, Friends! It's been an amazing past week, seeing how the Lord has been working at this high watch time! When we look at the Timeline, in just a few days will be the calendar mark for Ascension Day (May 2nd)!!! What a powerful reminder at this Springtime - where we are expecting our Beloved to return for His Bride! This has been greatly on my mind this week, as I keep recalling how Scripture recalls the event (Acts 1:9-11): "And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven." Wow! What a time to remember this promise!! This has been on my mind, because of Christ's promise (Luke 21:28): "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." What were the disciples doing when the angels told them about Christ's return? They were gazing up into the heavens!! Ascension Day is when Scripture records this amazing detail that they were looking up!! If you have been with us for a while, you know how the Lord has brought us on an amazing learning journey - with the big emphasis of what the heavens have been declaring! Look up! - there is a celestial tapestry that reminds us - right now - of our Redeemer! Right here at this last generation time - only days away from Israel's anniversary mark of 71 full years! And speaking of looking up, we should not be surprised that Jupiter is practically at the right foot of Ophiuchus - the One trodding on the scorpion's tail!! In fact, right around the possible dates of Israel's anniversary, Jupiter will be directly at the stars! Reminding us that He will be making His enemies His footstool! We know the next prophetic chapter is about to start! The Lord has been keeping me super busy, during this high watch time, finalizing details at the Brook Cherith medical missions center. Time would fail me to recount all the amazing ways the Lord has given wisdom for some incredible adjustments and upgrades that will drastically improve and expand the capabilities here! We've seen over the prior two weeks how the Lord has miraculously brought together various supplies and foodstuffs - making sure the clinic can meet the immediate needs for those who will need them, when sudden destruction comes right after the rapture. Now that many of those essentials and important areas are squared away, more discretionary - but important enhancements can be made to dramatically improve the positive patient outcomes and clinic efficiency. The Lord gave clear wisdom and leading about a whole series of domino tweaks and adjustments, this past week - but giving clearer details and provision as we went forward! We shared how the Lord led us to expand Hospice just a bit - well then He showed us how if we rotated the tent platform, it would allow us to put in an additional tent platform right next to it (doubling capacity for both Hospice and Delayed (essentially having a dedicated tent for both categories)!! Plus, with another domino tweak, we could quickly upgrade a connecting area where Triage takes place - with a final domino result being that these three tent platforms could be connected together via a covered walkway - all possible by going forward one step at a time!! Praise the Lord, we are about halfway through this series of domino upgrades (each one making the next possible; then affecting them all). This past week has been busy turning Hospice - which also allowed us to make a security/traffic shelter - which helped provide space for one new tent - which the Lord then showed quick steps to add a second platform tent(!) - all doubling and tripling the capacity and efficiency of two of the most important areas here at the clinic!! Praise the Lord, the largest tent platform (for Triage, pre-OP prep, and/or Delayed overflow) floor was completed this weekend, along with a new receiving area that will service these three important areas!! Lord willing, over the next few days we will be able to finish the tent portion and outfit the new 10'x20' area! Several amazing answers to provision prayers happened this week - with one happening right as I was finishing up one task, but needed additional provision for the next major step; and another provision coming in hours before it was needed - and for the amount needed! We go forward one day at a time - one step at a time! Praise the Lord for His leading, and how He is working mightily at this late hour to show mercy and grace to those in the days ahead! Friend, I share this because I want you to be excited about what the Lord is doing; but it is also an invitation: "Hey, y'all! The Lord's doing incredible miraculous things over here! Lookit! Come be a part of what He is doing!" Certainly, we all have our corners of His vineyard - but it should catch our attention that He brought your path across ours, so that you would be some of the few who see what He is doing in these late hours. He is showing you an opportunity that you can be a part of. When I recall that we are quickly approaching Ascension Day - with so many parallels to looking up - I am trying to have a personal goal of finishing out the tent platform additions by that day, having them fully functional and outfitted. When we are at a time that reminds us to be looking up, we should also be looking up with expectation of Him looking down... "Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; and ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately." - Luke 12:35 Let us remember - and reinvigorate - to shine brightly at this late hour!!! We know our Lord has gone away to make wedding preparations in His Father's house! He's going to be returning, looking for the wise who are ready to go! What a time to burn the midnight oil at both ends! Our Lord wants to find His servants ready, active, and shining bright!! Let's take this looking up reminder time to ask the Lord for wisdom of how each of us can gird ourselves up (be ready for service and action) - then how to look for opportunities and divine working - then grab and seize it!!! Run for the prize!! Let us be the wise and faithful servants who are zealous of good works (Titus 2:14)!! Take time TODAY to encourage one another. Provoke one another. Pray for one another. and Uplift one another - and so much the MORE as we see THE DAY - that reminds us of how He went away to prepare a place for us, and He will be returning in like manner, so look up! - approaching so fast!
